About us

Wellingore WI is a sociable group of ladies, who get together on the third Wednesday of the month. Meetings are informal. There is a little business to keep everyone up to date with what’s happening – forthcoming events, outings, etc. This is usually followed by a talk, demonstration or activity (sometimes all three!). Our speakers cover a wide range of subjects and activities – sometimes the familiar, sometimes something new, different or unexpected. We round off with refreshments (coffee, tea or a glass of wine) and a chance to chat.

We play an active part in the social life of the village too, so there is plenty of opportunity to meet people and get involved in community activities.

The WI is for all women – whatever their age or interests. Whether you simply want to come along for a sociable night out with like minded people or be actively involved and take advantage of all the opportunities this national organisation can offer, we’d love to see you.
