Welcome to the Lincolnshire South Federation

A warm welcome from the villages and market towns of south Lincolnshire

Our Federation, as we know it today, was formed in 1977 but the WI has been here since 1917 with the first one opening in Colsterworth.

We have around 55 very active institutes ranging from The Deepings in the south to Witham St Hugh's in the north and to Sutton Bridge in the east.

We have WIs of all sizes and  age groups making up our membership of over 1700.

As a Federation we offer social  and educational events throughout the year organised by the Board of Trustees and our sub-committees. Something for everyone.

Our WI Office is in the market town of Sleaford which is usually open Monday to Wednesday from 8.30am to 2.30pm). A quick call to WI Office to ensure it is open is recommended prior to a visit.
