On Monday 9 June Rippingale & District WI members were proud to receive the WI Centenary Baton.    The arrival of the baton was celebrated with our line dancing members demonstrating their brand new dance entitled Wonderful World of the WI. The dance was choreographed by our member, Karen Holtom, to a track from the CD by the WI Singing Group, The Harmonies.

The baton continued its journey by vintage car to Dyke and from there by pony and trap to the Bourne Corn Exchange where Group members passed the baton whilst enjoying Strawberries and Fizz and the music of the Gershwin Gang Jazz Band.
