Welcome to Nubourne WI

Formed in 1972, the members of Nubourne WI are a friendly and sociable group of ladies, who always welcome visitors and new members.  In addItion to their monthly meetings (see below) the ladies are able to take part in various  social activities.  These include those organised by the Federation, and also those organised by Nubourne itself.  The WI has a regular luncheon group and walking group, and there are outings to local attractions, or productions - trips on the Rutland Belle, to the Stamford Shakespeare company and to Flag Fen are a few of the additional outings organised previously.

The group also takes part in the Federation's Make, Bake and Show, and holds regular craft and social evenings where members can show their skills.

Our monthly meetings take place on the first Thursday in the month in the Abbey Church Hall, from 7.30pm to roughly 9.45pm.  In addition to our speakers we cover the business for the WI and from National and the Federation, and have a social time and a cup of something warm and a cake!
